Summary

Qilin is a third-year student double major in Biochemistry and Bioinformatics. He has deep interests in using multi-omic approaches to tackle questions in neuroscience. Before joining the Yeo Lab, he works with Dr. Bloodgood on experience dependent visual cortex development using calcium imaging. In the Yeo lab, he is interested in computational methods that analyze RNA sequencing data as well as using organoid to study neurodegenerative diseases. Outside school and research, he likes literature, movie, cook lesser-known dishes, and try every cuisine in San Diego.
