Summary

My name is Phuong Nguyen and I am a third year undergraduate at UCSD majoring in Public Health with a concentration in Medicine Sciences. I am currently working under the guidance of Danielle Schafer and Sara Elmsaouri, dealing with stem cells and microglia to analyze their effects on neurodevelopment/degeneration and neurological disorders. I have quite the sweet tooth so on my free time I like to go grab dessert with my friends. I also enjoy cooking and reading.
