Dr. Mina Yoshida
Postdoctoral Scholar
Cellular & Molecular Medicine
Summary
Mina received her MD and PhD from the University of Tokyo. During her PhD, she studied the regulatory mechanisms of alternative splicing by RNA-binding proteins, with a particular interest in how the position of RBP binding determines their effect on splicing, and what factors determine where RBPs bind.
In the Yeo Lab, she is interested in post-transcriptional gene regulation in neurons and how these regulatory mechanisms are connected to neuronal function and cellular states.
