Summary

I started my career in post transcriptional gene regulation at UC Santa Cruz, where I studied miRNA biogenesis regulation by splicing factors. I received my PhD in 2021 and joined Regulus Therapeutics to work as an R&D scientist characterizing various miRNA impacted diseases and developing ASO screening assays. After five years at Regulus we were surprised one morning to discovered we were acquired by Novartis. After my severance I have returned to academia working on ASO pipeline expansion, now targeting protein coding genes!

In my spare time I like to go to grocery stores, long walks, explore regional architecture and city designs, I am also passionate about cooking, baking, and organizing my apartment.
