Summary

Jocelyn Quiroz is pursuing a degree in Bioengineering: biotechnology at UCSD. Jocelyn is working under the guidance of Alicia Van Enoo studying neuronal and glial phenotypes in ASD using human stem cell models. In addition to her research, Jocelyn is a current scholar of the NIH-funded Multidisciplinary Educational Approach to Reducing Cancer Disparities to increase diversity among cancer researchers and promote awareness of cancer disparities. In her free time, Jocelyn enjoys going to the beach, hiking, reading, and trying new foods.
