Dr. Grant Goda
Post Doctoral Researcher
Cellular and Molecular Medicine
Summary
Grant is originally from Florida and earned his B.S. from the University of Florida. After graduation, he worked at Brammer Bio for a year while applying to graduate programs. He then joined the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to pursue his Ph.D. in the laboratory of Dr. Daniel Dominguez. His dissertation research focused on dissecting how mutant RNA-binding proteins contribute to cancer. During graduate school, Grant developed a strong passion for using biochemistry and molecular biology approaches to understand gene regulation.
Driven by his interest in RNA regulation in disease, Grant joined the laboratories of Dr. Gene Yeo and Dr. Corina Antal as a postdoctoral researcher in 2026.
Outside of the lab, Grant enjoys traveling, searching for good food, spending time at the beach, and playing ice hockey.
