Assael A. Madrigal

Staff Research Associate

Summary

Assa (ă-să) recieved his BS in Biochemistry at UCSD 2016, while doing research in Dr. Rao's lab studying exosomes as a biomarker source of kidney injury and PHusis Therapeutics looking at small molecule inhibitors targeting KRAS. He is part of the ENCODE team working on CLIP variations to sail the ocean of molecular biology through RNA-RBP interactions.

My interest is in using molecular tools to study interaction networks in evolution or activity dependent modifications. To this end I am seeking a deep foundation in CLIP and scRNA through experience.
